Terry Chapman Is Suing Nicki Minaj Over Song, "Sorry"

Nicki Minaj is indeed sorry after all!

“Barbie Tingz” rapper is reportedly being sued by Tracy Chapman for sampling her song "Baby Can I Hold You," without her permission.

Nicki released the song "Sorry" in August which featured hip hop artist Nas. She used most of Tracy song lyrics and melody. This was not cleared by Tracy, even after Nicki’s team reached out.

“Tracy is suing for an order prohibiting Nicki and her team from releasing the song again. She also wants damages in the form of loot,” according to TMZ.
