YNW Melly's life is in some serious trouble! The State of Florida is seeking death penalty for the rapper's murder case.

YNW Melly is currently charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The Police have stated that the rapper shot his two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., in the head, torso and back during October 2018. Cops believe the rapper had the crime scene staged like a drive-by shooting by shooting his own car.

According to TMZ, legal documents are saying that the State is pushing for death penalty against Melly.

Additionally, the state also believes that, "it can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Melly killed his friends for financial gain, the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel, and he committed homicide in a cold, calculated and premeditated manner." Officials also think that Melly is a criminal gang member.
