Dalton Harris' UK visa has been renewed.

The singer received a new performer's visa from Asif Ahmad, the British High Commissioner to Jamaica.

“Sending off @harrisdalton with a performer’s visa to resume his singing career as the winner of #XFactor UK. Good conversation about domestic violence, mental health, and bullying based on perceptions of sexuality. Impressive young man,” Ahmad stated on Twitter Monday.

Dalton Harris returned to Jamaica shortly after winning The UK X Factor based on the visa close to being expired. He revealed this during his interview with The Sun.

“I need to get a new visa. I will have to leave the UK for a bit as you’re not allowed to just stay forever. Hopefully, my visa will be sorted out quickly,” Harris told The Sun. “I had a visa that allowed me to compete in the show, so I’d be surprised if the government didn’t give me one now I have won,” he added.

His new visa has resolved this issue which will allow him to travel in the UK and other places as well.

Dalton's talent brought him to win the UK X-Factor competition which he was awarded a £1 million (approximately J$162,632,400) recording contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music in association with Sony Music.
