Usher's Herpes Accuser Drops Demand For Singer To Turn Over

Lorraine O'Connor • Dec 05, 2018

The John Doe suing Usher for allegedly transmitting herpes during a claimed sexual encounter at an L.A. spa has removed their request for the singer to turn over his medical records.

According to The Blast, the anonymous man withdrew his motion to compel, which was seeking Usher to turn in doctor record and information on any previous settlements over herpes to the court.

The documents also acknowledge that the anonymous man could bring up the motion again, but he is currently holding off to continue "further discovery."

Additionally, Doe expressed how Usher refused to give in his documents, while also trying to appeal to attorney-client privilege and physician-patient privilege to not hand in his records.

The “Burn” singer was sued twice last year by Jane Doe and Quantasia Sharpton. Both have made claims about having sexual encounters with Usher. They have all mention that he put their health at risk by not informing them about his alleged herpes diagnosis.

John Doe has expresses that his sexual encounter happened with Usher at a Koreatown spa in Los Angeles.

The case is currently continuing.
