Popcaan Will Be Signed To OVO, Drake Announces At Unruly Fest

Popcaan will be signed to Drake’s Record Label OVO next year, 2019.

The "In My Feelings" rapper made the announcement early Sunday morning during his performance at Unruly Fest: Popcaan & Friends in Concert.

"This is something we've worked on for a very long time," he told the audience. "I just wanna let everybody know, finally. Officially, 2019 Popcaan ah sign to OVO." The crowd flared up in much excitement.

OVO Sound is a record label founded by Drake, Oliver El-Khatib, and producer Noah "40" Shebib in 2012 which is based in Toronto, Canada.

Popcaan will be joining other various musical acts on the label that includes PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, and dvsn. Also, in-house producers that feature 40 and Boi-1da.
