NYPD Suspends Eric Garner's Murder Officer Daniel Pantaleo, Judge Wants Him Fired 

#CurrentFam, NYPD has suspended Eric Garner's murder, Daniel Pantaleo, who was the cop that put Garner in a dying chokehold.

According to CNN, this choice was made based on the judge recommendation.

Even though Garner's family believes the officers should be granted a harsher punishment, they felt a sense of relief hearing about his suspension.

The site also stated that, "The city agency that prosecuted Pantaleo and the officer's attorneys will have two weeks to respond to Maldonado's recommendation. After that, Police Commissioner James O'Neill has the final say on Pantaleo's fate."

It has been five years of unrest and no justice brought to Eric Garner and his family.
