Mavado’s Son Court Date Set For February 20th Based On Murder Charges

The Dancehall entertainer Mavado’s son is to return to the Supreme Court in Jamaica on February 20th.


He is facing murder charges for the death of Lorenzo Thomas in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew which occurred on June 5th, 2018.


The teenager was denied bail from being picked up by the police in June 2018, and currently in custody.


Mavado’s son and another young man named Andre Hines were charged with murder, arson, and shooting with the illegal possession of a firearm.


According to Loop Jamaica, the deejay’s son was also accused of giving an order to Hinds, which was to “behead Thomas during a violent attack on the latter in which he was killed and his house was burnt.”
