Cyntoia Brown Will Be Released From Prison Next Week

Freedom issa must! Cyntoia Brown will be walking as a free woman next week, after spending a great span of her life in prison.

According to CNN , Brown is reported to be released from prison and freed next week, after serving time for a murder committed when she was 16 which was self defense.

"She is light years today, as a woman, different from the traumatized 16-year-old that she was," Derri Smith, founder and CEO of non-profit End Slavery Tennessee, expressed last January. "She's mentoring ... troubled youth, working on her college degree, she is planning a nonprofit so she can help other young people."

In regards to Cyntoia Brown life after prison, she will have to visit her parole officer regularly for 10 years, engage in counseling, and participate in community service for at-risk children.
