Capleton Freed From Rape Charges

Capleton has become a free man after rape charges are dropped.

The reggae-dancehall artist was accused last year April 28, of forcing a woman to have sexual intercourse with him in his New Kingston hotel suite. This resulted in the deejay being arrested and charged by the Centre for Investigation Sexual Offence and Child Abuse in Jamaica.

According to Loop Jamaica , on Wednesday afternoon the charges were dismissed against Capleton during a committal proceeding in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court in Jamaica.

“I don’t know how to contain my joy; Capleton has been freed, God is good,” Claudette Kemp, Capleton’s manager told the site.
