Buju Banton Shows Love To New Generation Of Dancehall Artist

Buju Banton praises the new generation of Dancehall artist, more specifically those from Montego Bay, Jamaica for their talents and contribution to the genre.

Last night the gargamel was out and about at the dancehall event Weddy Weddy in Kingston, Jamaica. During his mini performance, he stopped to show his respects to the new generation of dancehall artist.

"Yuh see the yute dem from MoBay, mi nuh really know them but me love dem," the reggae-dancehall icon said. "Caa guess wah?! We nuh kill champion we raise champion!" The crowd cheered in agreement with Buju for praising the new artists in Dancehall.

The grammy-award winning singer also slammed those who put up the Kingston and Montego Bay artist against each other. "And if unno big up MoBay, unno fi big up town," he continued, "Unno fi come in! Yuh zimmie. Weddy Weddy want see unno. And we nuh want hear seh it's ah MoBay gainst Kingston ting cause dat a f**kery! A one Jamaica and dat we ah promote."

Many fans and artist were happy to hear Buju Banton's uplifting words. "Love the teaching!!!! Positivity," one supporter expressed.
