Benzino Is Currently Charged With Serious Drug Crime

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Benzino is facing a serious battle in court due to drug felony possession of THC oil gummies, 6 MDMA pills, and misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of weed.

According to TMZ, he was arrested in January 2017 and hit with those charges. In addition, legal documents also show that cops did a search warrant at Benzino house and found drugs in drawers and on the kitchen counter.

The producer was arrested and posted $12K for bail. His legal team stated that the search was illegal but the judge ruled it to be legal.

On Wednesday, Benzino legal team will be aware of his trial date which could happen soon if he takes the plea. If the star is convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison!
