Tifa Plans On Suing Dancehall Selector Foota Hype For Defamation, Reacts To Pride JA Performance Backlash

Somethings are better left unsaid! Tifa plans to sue Foota Hype for his recent commentary on her being booked to perform at Pride JA.

With Tifa, Ishawna, and Yanique Curvy Diva performing at the Gay Pride event in Jamaica, the dancehall selector believes that "Jamaica mash up." Foota reacted to their booking by saying, "Mi a wonder if ina dem head dem a say being gay is the right thing or dem a say dem bruk or dem jus wah tek di show," on his Instagram live.

Tifa went on her Instagram live as well responding that she will be taking legal action against Foota Hype, regarding his claims which were defamation of her character. The dancehall deejay expressed, "Where is this coming from Foota? Is it because you’ve been making advances at me for the past two years… in Jamaican terms, you’ve been looking me or trying to make advances at me, cause you say yu love brown skin woman fi two years, and I’m not paying you any mind? I’m in love with somebody, and you’re not my type.”

According to Urban Islandz , Foota Hype followed up with a response on his Instagram live in which he stated that he is not chasing clout because Tifa is “not hot right now.” Additionally, he also made it clear that she was responding based on an article from The Jamaica Star and not his direct word.
