Rihanna's Dad Denies Exploiting His Rich Daughter In Nasty Family Legal Battle

Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, is fighting the lawsuit and accusations of getting rich off his daughter, Rihanna, image without her consent.

According to court documents given to The Blast , "Ronald Fenty and his company claim they did not exploit Rihanna’s image and believe she has suffered no damages as a result of him trying to run his own business."

Earlier in the year, Rihanna sued her dad, Ronald Fenty and his company, Fenty Entertainment, in which she accused them of using her name without permission. The singer claim that her father and his business partner created an entertainment company with her last name, and have been making business moves as an agent of Rihanna.

Ronald, whose last name is also Fenty, believes that he has rights to the usage of the name and does not need his child's permission to do so on such matters. “Defendants deny that their use of “Fenty” requires authorization from Plaintiffs,” the documents state.

Rihanna's father wants the lawsuit to be dismissed immediately and also believes he does not own Rihanna any money or has done any damages.
