Ariana Grande Reportedly Got Paid Twice As Much Than Beyonce Did For Coachella, Fans  Upset

Looks like Ariana Grande's check was bigger than Beyonce's for Coachella! Reports are saying that the pop star made double the amount as headliner of the show, which has beehive furious.

According to Variety, Ariana was given $8 million to headline this year. However, last year Business Headliner reported that the r&b star was only awarded $3 to $4 million for the same duties.

If you recall, Beyonce set history last year with an epic production, as the first black woman to headline the festival. In addition, she included a new setlist, choreography, and stage designs to bring an amazing performance.

Beyonce also recently released a documentary on Netflix named Homecoming, in which she showed the preparation behind the production and performance in 2018.

Even though Ari is the youngest headliner for Coachella, many are upset with the wage gap between the stars.

"Her work ethic and level of quality are unsurpassed, how can you not love Beyonce? I resisted for years, but you can't deny her. I hope she timed this release to flex on Ariana Grande, who reportedly got paid more for her Coachella performance #boo," one fan said.

Fans also highlighted the technical difficulties with Ariana Grande performance. "No disrespect to Ariana, but Beyonce still owns the best Coachella performance of all time. It was so thought out and flawless," the fan continues, "Ariana had multiple technical difficulties (which wasn't her fault) but her lighting choice was and it was way too dark. Bey thought of EVERYTHING."
